Engine/Transmission Carrier

Post by Maverick »

Here's a rack that Bro Willy built to carry engines and transmissions to the car wash for cleaning. Says they don't object at 6AM on Sunday. :D It keeps the mess out of the pickup bed.

I like the idea. Seems like a lot of tongue weight, though. Esp on a little truck?

Not sure if I have a pic, but those wheel dollys for rolling a car around a garage work well for moving engine/trans assemblies around the garage. I bought a couple from Paul @ HGR and they work great for moving all kinds of stuff.

That was my initial reaction too. But, Willy says that hitch is installed in a very sturdy way. He's not toting big blocks.
