TRP $50 to win Animal Eliminator

I won my first Animal Eliminator in 1970 with my 1968 SS396 350hp blue metalflaked Camaro. For my effort I received a T shirt, a three and a half foot trophy, and $50.00. Wow! $50.00. Let me tell you, in 1970 that was alot of money. If you win today, you still receive the T shirt, a shorter trophy, and that $50.00. If TRP had kept up with the true value of money, that $50.00 would be worth $250.77. Wouldn't $250 increase your interest in Wednesday Night Grudge Racing. Just figured you'd like some food for thought.

Entry fee was $5.00, which would be $25 today. So maybe $15.00 isn't that bad. Hmmm!
