TRP on Sunday September 25th

Post by Basement Paul »

I'll probably race the Caddy. Mark is hoping to have his Nova together. I'm sure Dave will have the Chevelle.

I might race the S-10 if John brings his 442...

Yep. I'll be there.

Maybe we can get Fatica to bring the Prelude again.

Tony should bring his Blazer and see if it's faster than the Prelude....

Can't make it. I just think I'd be running a little hot by the time I covered the 4000 miles to get there.

OK, I just used this thread as an excuse to announce my presence.

BTW, cool forum. I'll be watching.

Later,
Tim

For everyone who was there, the weather cooperated and a good time was had by all. For the moment, Basement Paul's S10 retains its' edge on the '87 442. It was amazing to watch a Z66 move well into the 16's. However there was much too much red in the first round dashing many hopes. The bright spot for me was my .501 reaction time. I still got it! There was a prize for the best reaction time, but one fellow did it before me and got the money.

That's too bad that someone else got it this year -- I won that last year for my own .501. Would've been pretty cool if that prize stayed in our group.

Yea, me too wants some pics.... !!!! :D
The AV went out in the first round with a .493. Woulda lost anyway, my opponent had a .520 and ran a 14.713 on a 14.70 dial. I dialed a 16.65 and ran a 16.722. :?:

The Nova is at a standstill. Dannys' in Cub Scouts, and I'm probably gona be somewhat involved. We all have fall chores around the house, and those get priority over the Nova.

This is about all I have, unless you want to see the ones of that 10-second 6-cylinder Dodge (?) or that blown-alcohol Camaro. I'm lousy about taking pictures when I have my car at the track.
