My time with Silvia has produced some positive ideas:
Pull stubborn and inaccessible spark plug boots by lassoing the boot with a long zip tie and using pliers to grab and pull on the zip tie to get the boot right off the plug.

That's a great tip! I hope I can remember it when needed!

It works best on 90° boots and it saves the boots from damage caused by tools used to grab them.
