So you probably noticed the board looks a little different -- I've update the forum software to the latest. I've been wanting to do this for a few months, but it's hard to sit down and do this stuff when the weather is nice. So it was finally cold and crappy today..
A few new things:
Multiple image upload --- the link for Add Image To This Post is gone. Use the Attachments tab at the bottom of the message window to add pictures. All attachments will be stored locally on my server, so no more expiring links from postimage.org (look through some of the older threads, you'll see what I mean).
Youtube buttons -- The Youtube buttons above the message work properly.
a) Use the ' Youtube' for https://www.youtube.com/watchv?=xxxxxxxxxx links.
b) Use the 'Youtube2' button for https://youtu.be/xxxxxxxx (the youtu.be links are shown when you hit the Share button on Youtube.
You'll notice usernames now appear on the right side of the screen when reading messages. I personally prefer them on the left, and don't see an option to change this. (yet)

I do notice we are getting requests to join in the notifications section. Is that new?
Yes and no. I have the registration set so that it has to be approved by an Administrator. (you're an Administrator, thats why you see them) I have it that way to try and keep the spambots at bay. I was hoping the new software would have better protection to prevent them from registering in the first place, but I guess not.
It appears as though I have lost my ability to post images. I've called Fred
and he seems to have a tab on his screen that I don't have and I'm thinking
that's the issue, but I'm more of a hydraulic fluid and levers guy, so you might
know. Your help with my issue would be appreciated!!
So right under the window where you type your text, there should be a couple tabs "Options" and "Attachments". Click Attachments. Then click Add Files button. You should get a File Open box where you can select multiple files to upload. (hold ctrl-key while clicking on files if selecting more than 1.)
