This is a project tractor that I worked on, but it is not fitting my
needs at the present time. I know this is Tiresmoke, but if you
guys know anyone interested, have them contact me!! This tractor
is a pretty tough one to find, especially in the condition of this one!!

A guy drove to my place from Wadsworth and bought the plow for $225 on Sunday.
He made me an offer of $600 on the tractor, but he really didn't want it. It was
quite funny! I told him if it was for sale after the first of the year, he could have
it for what he offered. He knew what the parts were worth, and I told him that
I was going to tear it down and part it out if I couldn't sell it whole. After he left
I went in the house and changed my Craigslist ad to show that I sold the plow and
I lowered the price of the tractor to $800. Yesterday a 74 year old guy from Flint
Michigan called. He's mailing me a deposit for the sale this week and he is going
to come and pick it up the week of Jan 4. Assuming it all goes down the way it should,
the tractor is sold......

Well, the sale didn't quite go down as planned..... I basically begged the old
man who wanted the tractor so badly to call a dealer and find out how much
it would cost to fix the cub and make it a turn-key tractor. After getting sticker
shock and coming to reality ( it was about $500 for the dealer to fix the hydro
leak! ) he asked for his deposit back. I mailed him a check and called the guy
who bought the plow. He came on Saturday and picked it up. I convinced him
that he needed a box of parts that I had for an extra $50, so I am cub-less and
part-less at the moment. Off to the next project.

Tiresmokers get a sweet deal on this one if interested.

SOLD!!!! A local guy bought it. He had another tractor like it
with a Briggs & Stratton engine in it that was cooked. He planned
on using it to mow his yard and hopefully fixing the charging
problem. He was pleased with the unit overall....and now it is
his tractor and not mine!!
