Here's the scoop. I'm in the market for a cheap-to-drive car for my kids to drive. I'd love
to find a late 90's - 05 Buick Century or Regal as I'm relatively familiar with those cars. I've
been searching for a week or so, trying to figure out what they sell for. Seems I can get a
decent one for around $1500. I don't want any major repair jobs, and I'd prefer to not have
to deal with a total rust bucket ... I don't want to replace all brake and fuel lines.... Higher
mileage is not an issue, but over 140,000 is too much. I don't care about interior wear or
faded dashboards, etc... I'd entertain anything if the price is right..... If anyone knows of
a good first car for my kid, let me know!!!!!!

Today I went with GMJohn to look at a Buick Century to start his search.
Asking price about $1600, would hardly take it for free.
We then toured Painesville's auto miles of little used car dealers.
Some possibilities, just trying to see what you can get for your money.
A fun afternoon.

My friend Jerry has a 99 Mustang GT I think this would be $3000. It has Blizzaks so it will be able to go in the winter. This may not be what you want your kid to drive but it is the only car I know about right now.
