Things are coming together. 'Smoke and the 69Chevelle are getting their own room.
I sent Dave the info. Matt, I talked to your Dad Sunday. That second room I have
reserved is your's and your Dad's. He thinks your brother may be coming.
WXO and I and whoever else shows up will fit in our room. Of course,
if we need to move things around we can be flexible.

Just a little less than a month.

Matt, plan to arrive in Raleigh on Wednesday evening (4/24) and we'll leave for Carlisle on Thursday morning around 9ish. That will get us to Carlisle between 4 and 5 Pm to meet Fred & company.

I'd like to make sure that someone is bringing technology to watch DVDs. Anyone have a big screen laptop? Gaming device to hook up to the hotel TV?

I'll bring my DVD player that will plug into just about any TV...

Weather looks good. If your interest in buying a ride, the auction is 3:00 pm to 10:oo pm Thursday and Friday.
Check it out. We might go Thursday after dinner just to look.

I read about the auction on the website and it says that a $10 Spring Carlisle day pass admits one to the auction. If we go to the auction on Friday night instead of Thursday, we could avoid the charge.

Fastest 4 days of the year. Our trip to the Spring Carlisle is over,
but it was great fun making many memories.
Cars, food, and friends, a combination that can't be beat.

34 degree start to 70 degrees....................cars...........................Lunch.....................more cars

The weather could not have been better, cold to comfortable.
My biggest purchase was a replacement spare tire for my Silverado,
my favorite purchase was a license plate frame for that same truck.

Next spring can't come fast enough!

I know I had a great time too! It was fun just hanging out with the crew. I didn't have anything really to buy, but I forced myself into that set of S-10 wheels / tires just to make it seem like I really was taking something home. Not to mention it seemed really cheap...

I really think the Spring show is the way to go. Lots and lots to see, a big car corral, and overall a good MEAT. Matt even opted for the morning woody for breakfast. Why not?
