Spring Carlisle 2013

Post by Fred32v »

It's not too early to be thinking about Carlisle.
Spring Carlisle is Wednesday April 24th to Sunday the 28th.
I am currently thinking that I would arrive on Thursday for dinner
and leave for home on Sunday am.

Time to block out some vacation time.

Now, you have to ask yourself;
"Do I want to attend Spring Carlisle for the umpteenth time?"
Well do ya!

Are you going to pick me up on the way to Carlisle? You could overnight in Raleigh. I hear they have good food at Randi's Bed & Breakfast.

Well I'm about to make reservations for our stay in Carlisle for the Spring Meet.
Tomorrow I will be reserving two rooms for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Hey Maverick, should I also reserve a room for you this year,
there must be some Ford truck parts there that you could find?

Rookie, bring your new ride, I bet you could pickup some passengers along the way.

Hi Fred,

Don't think I'll make it but thanks for asking. Yes, I could probably find some things but don't feel like I can handle the walk anymore.

It looks like the wagon won't be ready (I simply have not had time). It also looks like that is Yasmina's weekend to have Alex so I am thinking I will drive directly to Carlisle from Atlanta. Google maps puts it at 10 hours which is much better than driving to Ohio and then to Carlisle. I should have cash though should i find anything cool.

When were you planning to leave? Have you thought about passing through Raleigh so that we could ride together?

So do you wanna take smoke? I could meet you at your house and then we could ride up together. I would like to arrange it so we get to Carlisle sometime around the same time as Fred & Paul. It would nice to have someone to switch off driving with.

You bet I'm takin' Smoke. If you have the time available, you could arrive in Raleigh on Wednesday night Apr 24th, stay overnight and we could drive to Carlisle on Thursday, meeting Fred in time for dinner on Thursday afternoon. Would that work for you?
