Hey Mark,
The short answer is: nothing was sold
I started at $11,500 under constant pressure from almost everyone to lower the price. No calls no nothing. On Saturday I cut it to $10,500 and stopped at the car at arranged times - still nothing. Sunday was a repeat of Saturday.
I looked at comparables and I don't think I am that high - maybe a thousand? But none of them had any documentation I could see.
I saw several other cars that seemed cheap but were not selling. there was a nice blue 91 for $6000, a white 80 for $7500 with a real healthy engine and set up for street racing duty, a gold 84 complete and running for $2995. I am not sure this is the right venue to be selling for top buck.
I did buy trim rings, some of the ignition shielding, interior silver parts: some nice leather seats, visors, RH dash front, a couple trim pieces, and stock valve covers.

No Sale
I'm glad to see the '63 made the trip. Go Dave!

Nothing wrong with starting at high price. If anyones REALLY interested, they'll make an offer. Now, as we go into fall, the demand is gona diminish - IMO. Sit on her this winter, and she'll sell in the spring.

First long roadtrip in the Corvette, with 7+ hours of the top down cruising
My first time being there on Friday morning
Grilling up lunch for everyone, and having them all live to tell about it
"What's that knocking noise?"
Un-corking a supercharged Regal in a parking lot full of Vettes
Having our hotel located on a virtual dragstrip in Carlisle
*yawn*, another Z06.

Driving the Vette 5 hours tops off - following the 63 a good bit of the way. Had to put the heat on the last leg since the air was cool.
"Let's do the deal!" - made funnier since we actually got to see the videos on youtube
Power outage at the All-Star Cafe (formerly Rod's). I still think we should have borrowed the gas grill from the neighbors and cooked our own.
The whole f-ing b-tard thing was hilarious
Trying to pack a third silver seat in the back of the Vette with all of mine and Bill's stuff.
So many Corvettes and parts.
I'm sure I missed something
Edit - installing my new seats at Carlisle

Singing & Driving in the Rain
Driving in the rain following a '63 Corvette Roadster with the top down & wipers on high,
following the companion '75 vette with the T-Tops out in the same rain storm with the wipers on full.
Butter pecan Ice Cream cones and sugar cookies
Farmwood's finest vintage wines (only 4 bottles, the other 8 are in Chardon.)
Free STS-V car wash on the way to W-Mart (what happened to the 1/2 tank of gas?)
My favorite purchase was the new 50 feet of 1/4 inch air hose that was marked $25 and I paid $15, it reaches everwhere in the garage.

Carlisle Memories
Piloting a top down '63 Vette. Row, row, row. (I love it).
Piloting (literally) an STS-V rocketship. (Hang onto you hats boys. I've got the hammer down!).
Drinkin' wine, wine, wine with Fred.
Blackout at Rod's.
Corvettes as far as the eye can see.
Lunch cooked by "Chef Studly" and eatin' and restin' in the shade.
102 degrees in the shade (in Pennsylvania?)
New JEEP hat. (which I'm gonna pitch in the trash unless I get rid of this vibration).

Corvettes Carlisle 2007 DVD slideshow
The much awaited slideshow DVD is moving toward completion. This is one activity that I could do when down for a week of illness.
I've had some technical hurdles to overcome along with other delays for who-knows-what, but I'm looking forward to your enjoyment of the finished product.

Revisiting Corvettes
If this DVD is anything like the last one, I can't wait.
Corvettes at Carlisle was quite an exciting happening.
We made a serious amount of fun during that weekend.
I look forward to the DVD to reliving some of those amazing memories!
