Re: TRP 2019
Seems to me that BP, Fred32V and Tiresmoker bring home a disproportionately high # of trophies

Re: TRP 2019
I believe TRP is planning to have a Test-n-Tune on Sat Oct 26th. I'm planning on taking the Chevelle to try out my new 3.73s! I'm trying to figure out how to get the '90 Vette out there at the same time to run them side-by-side.

Re: TRP 2019
From what I see right now, it's supposed to be 53 and sunny. I don't expect to get too much better weather than that, so I'll be there with the S10 and the little tires shooting for an 11.6x. And I'll be there close to when they open when it's even colder. So if you get both cars there, I'd be happy to help you race yourself.

Re: TRP 2019
Yeah, getting it there is going to be the problem. Gwen is going out with her mom that day, I'm not sure Tony can drive a stick (and if he goes, probably wants to take his own car, understandably) my dad is in Florida.. not sure who else I can recruit that wouldnt mind spending part of the day at the dragstrip! Any volunteers???

Chris?
We should also invite Sam. I'm thinking he's probably working, but never know...

Re: TRP 2019
I'm going to try to be there at 9:30. If the schedule is the same as always, the gates open at 9 and time trials start at 10.

Re: TRP 2019
That's hot!
I was able to get my best ET ever, but only by .01. So now the the truck has run 11.85. My other two passes were an 86 and a 90. The air was good and the temp was cool, but I think the 10-15mph headwind wasn't helping anything.
I also had a fun pass in Smoker's Vette. Having no tach and driving next to him with his headers open made launching a little tough, but made a pretty solid pass at 13.44 @ 106. We got rained out right before our next pass.
I was thinking that I would run a bunch faster in the good air. I guess we'll have to wait for the low 40 / high 30 degree day with notsomuch headwind to improve.
It was fun hanging out with GM, Smoker, Chris, and seeing some pretty cool hardware running too.
