I've promoted the truck selling to Ebay: http://snipurl.com/1k8dg1

It will run until Sunday evening 12/5. If it doesn't make the reserve, I will be taking it off the
market until spring.

The Ebay auction ended without the reserve being met. I plan to keep the truck up for sale on Craigslist and Cars.com during the winter months and then relist it in the spring. In the mean time she's sitting pretty in the garage while the GTO must suffer the bitter cold winds of North Carolina outside.

By the way, I've recorded a Walk-Around video. Grab a beer and some popcorn and enjoy:

Good job on the walk around video. It really shows off the excellent condition.

Is that Grabber Blue? Put some red pin striping and some decals on it and you'd have Sprint decor!!

Ol' Blue is officially sold. A local guy saw it on ebay and contacted me after the auction was over. He drove it off this morning. Interestingly, he is a partner in a landscape design business and part of the deal is for them to work up a landscaping plan for my property. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but haven't really taken the initiative to do it. They were here today measuring and brainstorming. The plan will be forthcoming in a couple of weeks.

I really enjoyed the walk around. Honest, down to earth, representation. Nice. :D

One item I found odd, and it's probably just me... were the side marker lights, on the front fenders. To me,they looked like generic add-ons.
Were they, or was that a Ford thing? And, if I remember correctly, wasn't '68 or '69 the first year for side marker lights?

Kinda reminded me of my first pick-up, a 1975 C20, 292 I6, 4spd, with a creeper first gear, and 4:10s.
That thing had enough torque to pull the earth off it's axis, but then, didn't like to go over 60mph.

How about a new thread, Landscaping, (with pics) before and after ????

Mark, I believe the marker lights were stock Ford items. They were on the truck when I got it at 15K miles. They were colored primer grey originally. When I had the truck painted in '98, I had them covered in white.

No landscaping thread from me. I hate landscaping and yard work. I'll be paying someone else to do it. What I really need is a new burnout avatar for the GTO. Oops, maybe I should re-engineer the line-lock from the Z28 first. Then the shift light needs to be installed, then.....it never ends.
