Nice. Now to locate the C2 connector
So far I have only been looking for LS4 stuff on there and there is very little of that. I see in the data for my car I can change the RPM for the "over rev" indicator light - however I don't see such a light in the dash. I had planned on setting it up as a shift light.
For your car, this looks very doable to me.

I suggest a subscription to AllData. They have circuit diagrams and a whole lot of other good stuff specifically for your car.
Here's a light for you:

After 7 days of work, Maverick and I finally overcame the hydraulic clutch problems in the Z/28 this morning. We removed the master cylinder four times for bench bleeding activities using various techniques in addition to pressure bleeding, vacuum bleeding and manual bleeding of the system. I think I went through about a gallon of brake fluid. Success was achieved when a second new master cylinder was added to the process. I think the first m/C was probably bad, but given our increasing experience and efficiency in bleeding it could have been that too. The only way to know for sure is to install the first new one again and I do not intend to do that. I also performed the "drill mod". This involves drilling out a restrictive orifice in the hydraulic line going to the slave cylinder. It is supposed to allow faster clutch action.
Bottom line: I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Testing the new shift light hookup
The new Harlan shift light is now installed, so now we have to see if it works.

Maverick deserves the credit for the color commentary and camera work on both videos.

If you look at the center of my dash just under the AC vents, you will see a small lighted rocker switch. Flipping the switch on activates a relay that deactivates the horns and allows the line lock solenoid to be activated by the horn button. All I gotta do is flip the switch, step on the brake, and hold the brakes with my left thumb on the horn button. When it's time to go I just lift by thumb.
