This is baffling...

Post by TheRookie »

I'm mean it literally. The other day I got to work only to have a coworker tell me there is a "hair" sticking out of the tailpipe of my Trailblazer SS. So I go to look and there is about a 3ft section of wit partially wrapped around the hitch. I started pulling on it and it was like a magician's trick with the kerchiefs that keep going and going. Needless to say, I ended up with a small wig and a slightly louder exhaust. I guess the beast wanted to unleash itself!

What's left of them, yeah. I don't have to worry about e-check before the lease is up, so I don't think I'll waste the time at the dealer.

The lease is due up in January so I'm already looking around for what's the next lease. I am not sure if I am going to go with a car and get a used truck or something like an Avalanche. We'll see.

I was guessing that your aftermarket mufflers had blown out the packing (magnaflows are like this).

I am not sure what to make of the OE mufflers doing this. Maybe there is a technical service bulletin about it on Alldata.com. The website shows the subject lines. If you want the detail you can get it at your local library.
