Someone made a video game tribute car to the Independence Chevelle from Vice Grip Garage: https://youtu.be/9Q7VFedtm_o?t=14

If you are not familiar with the car or Vice Grip Garage you can start here: https://youtu.be/RXc4TLoHSDM

So the article is probably better than the video, but the really good part is the take off, at about 1:05. Seriously, the rest of it after that is kinda weak, but check out the article.

^ It took 25 years to complete the project! The guy who started it is now in his 80's. Dude I would not make it that long with an in process project with no satisfaction from using it.

Really cool outcome!

Diesel racing at Indy in the 1950's?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ubmklx0WHK0

So many cool little things:

* mechanics wearing bow ties
* prototype IndyCar being hauled around on an open trailer
* first IndyCar in a wind tunnel for testing
* mounted the engine horizontally
* there is no wall between the track and the pits

Troy Ruttman wins as the youngest driver to ever win the 500. Joe Ruttman's brother apparently. Cool.

It's not a video, but you guys are all on this thread..

What modern cars would look like if they were retro designed.. there's a few good ones, the R8, the Cayenne, the Prius..
