I like the idea of keeping the Vette AND just buying the truck outright.

Re: 1998 C5 Roadster
Good advice! I tend to get a little bored with hobby vehicles when the big issues are sorted and start thinking about a change. Unfortunately, I don't have space for more than one hobby vehicle so I have to give up one to get another. Gave up my '66 Stang convert to get a pontoon boat. Gave up the pontoon to get the Maverick. Gave up the Maverick to get the Continental. Love the Continental but, if I had sufficient space and hobby $$$$, I'd still have the pontoon and the Maverick.Fred32v wrote:I like the idea of keeping the Vette AND just buying the truck outright.

If depreciation isn't a big problem, you can always sell the Vette later.

Re: 1998 C5 Roadster
IF I was retired ( if in bold!! ) I'd keep both, but I really don't
have time to maintain both vehicles. I can hardly wash one,
let alone maintain two. I'm good with just having one "play"
vehicle. There are plenty of tractors and other things in that
barn to make for a wonderful day off if I'm not playing with a
car.

Trading in the Vette for a truck?
Looks like the mid-life crisis is over.
