Corvette TCV way too high. Need to look at the Chump rules - pick a fast one.

Any 93-97 Ford Probe GTs make the circuit?

Small 2.5 V6 but car was already light from the factory. Was a very fun car on the street.....all 156K miles of it.

Everybody else drove theirs into the ground too, apparently. Very few on craigslist, considering there were a million of them on the road. Or maybe they just lived up to their nameplate -- Found On Road Dead

I really enjoyed that car. I'd like to see Ford re-introduce it with their EcoBoost V-6 as it would be a total blast to drive. (Won't ever happen.)

To this day, I still love the exterior lines on the 93-94 GTs.

I can still remember driving down to Clarke Ford with my old man to pick it up right before Thanksgiving in '94......two weeks before I actually finalized my first job offer out of school. It was worlds apart from the '81 Cutlass and '82 Regal I had been driving!!

Mazda MX-6 = Ford Probe Those were pretty cool too, and also ran forever with the V6.

Both came off the same assembly line.....in Flint or Flat Rock, MI if I remember correctly.

Very fun car, though.

Last weekend, at the Mecum Auction from Anaheim, a 2002 Z06 that certainly appeared nice on TV sold for.....$22,000.

While Dave and I were helping a client of mine look for a Corvette last Winter, we stumbled across a car lot off of Vine Street in Eastlake to look at a C4 of some kind that we passed on.

But the dealer had a silly nice low mileage '07 Z06 in a cool Copper color with really nice custom wheels. They were asking 27K for it....so I'm assuming it was 25K car.

For the money, that's a hell of a lot of car.....that you don't need to modify at all.

On a different note, the same auction produced the crappiest car I've ever seen at auction on TV: a mid-80s Dodge "Shelby" van that sold for......$1,100 or $1,300....I can't remember...but it was rather pathetic.

"It's a California car. It's a Shelby. He passed away recently. Let's sell this while the market is HOT!" Not.......

Not sure if the link will work, but a minivan chump car seems badass.

This car was for sale for $12,500 about 2 weeks ago... a C5 for under $10,000

Not even Kid Rock, in his "slant 6" '79 (close enough) Camaro from Joe Dirt, could catch that Minivan!!!

That Red '98 is every shade of red but the original shade. There's not one panel that fits correctly. I'm going with salvage title.

If you guys want to build a minivan go ahead. I have an idea what it takes to build a car that is fun to drive and capable of winning, and I would not want to make it harder by starting with a minivan.
