I saw that -- that is sooo awesome. 161 *in the wet* !!!

I might have to get back to my Playstation this winter -- they have the Nurburgring track in there.

Well, the lap time would be way better than the Saturn. However, if this were a ChumpCar race he would probably get at least (35,000-500=34,500) 3450 penalty laps so we would have a pretty good head start (I see these are about $60k new so we'll cut him a break and say a used one is worth $35k). If he can get it down to 7 min/lap that would be about 402 hours head start for us. I think we could win it.

If you want to play the game you have to follow the rules. And don't mess with the rocket ship.

7:37 is really fast. I've been around the 'Ring at least 1000 times (at least in the video simulation world), and I can only see a few places where the driver lost time. I think if it was dry on the back section, he would have been around a 7:32 as the last turn before the long straight is really tricky, even in the dry.

That was a pretty awesome drive. Car sounds great too. Looks a little too plasticky on the outside though. Like they're trying to make it look like a Nissan GT-R.
