C4 Corvette uses transverse mounted fiberglass leaf for the front spring. The performance models came with a beefier spring. While I know this suspension as Z51 there are a couple RPO codes that have it: FE3 and FE5 (will confirm).
The spring has FHB stamped into it
These are hard to come by. I can get an FHA spring (like what is in the car now) for $150 all day long, but the FHB are not to be found. Checked a couple prominent C4 junkyards, and occasionally check ebay.
This is not a hot fire but I'd like to find one so I can compare the performance difference. If you spot one for sale let me know!
