1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Post by Basement Paul »

So to no surprise I'm selling the F-250. I'll be posting it this weekend, but if any Smokers are interested, it's $5000. If you have friends that have interest, it's $5500. It's a great truck with only 70k miles and NO body rust. I think with all the stimulus money flying around, and tax time coming, it should sell pretty quick. It's a great tow vehicle and work truck.

If you want more specs, let me know.

this truck is such a statistical oddity with 21 years, 70k miles and being an F250. It should sell fast
[quote="Basement Paul"]Is that a mint rocketship on the hood??

I'm just using this as a notepad to cut and paste my ad from:

1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty 69k miles 2wd

I'm selling my F250 XL that I have owned for over two years. It currently has just over 69k miles on it. There is NO body rust on it but it does have normal work truck scratches and light dings. It has a 5.4 gas V8 and 4spd auto trans and there are NO leaks at all. It runs and drives great. This truck did NOT have a hitch on until I installed it in the Summer of 2019 and I have only towed with it five times. It does not have a trailer brake.

I bought it from the original owner in November of '18 and fixed up a bunch of little things initially, and it's been a great truck since. The A/C blows cold and the heat is hot. The fan works slowly on the lower three settings and still blasts on high. The only other known issue is the dome light does not work. No check engine light.

Here's a list of what's new in the last 7500 miles:

-Four Tires E-rated
-Front Brake Calipers
-Front Wheel Bearings
-Front & rear Brake Pads
-Set of 8 Accel Ignition Coils
-New Spark Plugs
-New Muffler
-New HD shocks (ALL FOUR)
-New transmission filter, synthetic oil, and drainable trans pan
-New K&N Air Filter
-Used Ford Trailer Hitch (4wire plug works correctly)
-TruXedo tonneau cover
-Synthetic Oil changes

I'm firm on my asking price of $5400. It's hard to find a truck with this low mileage and this clean around here. It's ready to work!

The truck is sold. Kevin shared my FB listing and a friend of his shared the info with a family friend and they bought it this morning. It's headed for Mayfield Village to an old hot rodder.
