So I bought my dad a 2008 Colorado. 59,000 miles. It's scratched and dinged but not bad overall. I am on the look out for the following.

Is he coming down to get it, or are you going to deliver it?
59k miles is really low.

I will be delivering it and driving the Ranger back. He doesn't know I got it yet. I just need to install the new shocks, check the brakes, resolve an evap code and fix a tail light. Internet says it's a fuse.

sunroof too. It's pretty well loaded. Just has been used a truck, scratches & dents.

If I know your dad, you may want to try and find a cap for it too... Somewhere he should have the tonneau cover for the Ranger too. It was almost new when he put the cap on it.

a few minor items and the truck will be ready for delivery.

it's missing the jack and the accessories.
it only has 1 key and no remote. So i'm getting another key and a new remote.
a small cover for the seat mount to the floor.
the windshield cowl piece needs replacing, the weatherstrip is toast.
i need to clean and reinstall the seat belt receptacle cover.

It cleaned up and was pretty easily fixed. It had a bunch of tiny things before I got the list whittled down to the above.
- new tires and alignment
- was missing a center cap
- was missing a carper trim piece
- new rear brake shoes
- new charcoal canister purge valve and vent valve
- new shocks
- new lights (all 6)
- new front and rear bumper
- grill center bar wrapped black
- recharged AC
- added a black & red chase bar (I simply thought it looked cool and added to the appeal)

Except for the bumps and bruises it's pretty darn nice I think.

I just realized that it's a 2wd Z71. I always thought that was cool. I think MostMint's is the same configuration. The bar in the bed does look pretty good. Reminds me a little of the Baja S10.

Yep Rhonda's is also 2WD Z71. it just flipped over 79k which I think is extremely low miles for a 12 year old driver vehicle. it is not the most powerful thing but have used it to tow cars on multiple occasions.

very few mechanical problems to date. what I can recall are:
- under warranty one of the injector or ignition wires to the coil needed replaced
- catalytic converter heat shield broke free and would make noise vibrating
- gate handle got real difficult had to replace it
- blower motor quit working. This was a bad ground under the hood

she just spent some $ getting rust fixed on front driver and rear passenger doors, and the gate. Was not rusted through yet but this truck will be here a while.

It's been a good truck so far your Dad should like his.
[quote="Basement Paul"]Is that a mint rocketship on the hood??
