I'm not sure I would involve the insurance. Collect up those parts you found and put them on.
A serious buff and polish will bring the color in line.
The TireSmoke group has dealt with a lot worst than that.

(Just my 2 cents worth.)

So, we're back from Florida. After driving 7.5 hours from Marion, NC this morning, we got home, and within 10 minutes, hopped on the mower for another hour or so. Ate some dinner and finally made it back to Tiresmoke Central to assess the damage.

The suspension looks undamaged to my C4-novice eyes. That's a big plus. I definitely need a hood, complete RF headlight assembly (minus motor -- it *looks* unscathed), complete front fascia with right-side fog light, wheel well, the wiring for the headlight/side-marker, pass. mirror, belt-line trim on the rear quarter, and some light body work on rear fender lip from scraping. There's some sort of rubber support behind the front fascia that looks broken too. All said, it does seem quite fixable.

that dark red nose piece you posted was from the same guy I get parts from - Tim Pierce he is just south of Randolph. That was from a flood car and I have the engine from it in the garage. He might have what you need

It must've sold this week. Ad is updated. :-( Sent a message to the lady in Rome with the '90 red hood, hopefully they will be home this weekend.

I found this on car-part.com. One of my co-workers reminded me of it, and I think I found something really good.

I'm talked to them late on Thursday before the holiday. I searched for a front bumper.. I might just try to buy the whole car if the price is right. I'm calling them first thing Monday morning. (in about 8 hours!)

Took a ride with Dad to Greensburg, PA today. I couldnt buy the whole car, but I did get complete front clip-- hood, complete bumper assy, side panels, inner fender liners, a correct RH wheel, passenger mirror, along with some stuff I didnt need, like a spare radiator, fans, and AC condensor. I should now have everything I need.

So what's the plan. You gonna put those parts on or have it done?

If you decide to do it yourself, let me know and I can lend a hand.

Thanks to Paul for the HUGE assist, progress was made today!! Fred made an appearance and dropped off the porta-power. Thankfully it wasn't needed. There are still some hood alignment issues to work out, and install the headlights, but it's all there. I'm gonna run up to Mr. Tire and get the tire swap over (again!) to a correct RH side wheel. The first replacement was a LH, as I didn't know there were Right & Left wheels.. doh.

Not a lot of progress to report on after Paul helped me get the front end on. I was starting to have real issues starting the car. I'd turn the key, get a heavy clunk from the solenoid, and then just dead. Long story short, the POIO (PrevOwnerInstalledOption) battery kill switch was failing and I had to remove it from the system. However, the heavy cable coming from the starter solenoid is too short to reach the battery, so, I just have all 3 leads just bolted together. It seems to start reliably now.
