The Ole Yellow Truck

Post by bossvette »

I have had this truck since 88 and this is the third incarnation for it.
its been a uphill battle on the latest mods but I finally am able to drive it
click here for a bunch of pictures
here is one I took last night after returning home from a cruise with my Wife (the first in 8 years)

the boy in some of the early pictures in now driving
Currently it is running a 305 TPI with a 700R4 the drive train is 3rd gen F body 4 wheel disks and coil springs its not a show car but more like an old farm truck that has been "civilized"

Old Yellow Truck

Nice ride!! Judging by the photo history, you gotta be lovin' that truck.
That yellow does make it standout. The black flames set it off and the
rack is just right. I'd guess it's a strong cruiser not a racer,
but it might be fun to see what it can do in the quarter mile,
just for grins.

What a sweet project truck!

Tell us which were the "latest mods"

Is this just a cruiser or do you plan to put it on the dragstrip to get some numbers?
[quote="Basement Paul"]Is that a mint rocketship on the hood??
