I don't know the rwhp, but race weight with me in it is just shy of 3900 lbs. My guess is about 200 hp at the wheels, but I'm guessing... It does make a bunch more torque than HP.

It was 36 degrees when I arrivied and TRP at 10:30am, the water hoses were frozen.
Great air, but a slight headwind. There was absolutely no traction early, even with
glue, the pavement was too cold. Most cars I've seen at a real T-N-T, about 200.
Once the slick tire cars passed things got better. My best was 12.84@109.24mph.
I had to settle for 1.9+ 60 footers, would have like the 1.79's from last year.
Mid afternoon tempereatures were in the 50's with that little headwind.
BP had his best et but missed his best mph, probably that headwind. He turned
13.56 @ 99.61. Those bars seemed to help his launch maybe not the complete answer.

Another sunny November day at TRP. Temperature in the mid 50's .
Well GMJohnny now has the best time slip in the family with a 12.33@113mph.
BasementPaul entered the Gambler's race and went home with all the money.

Are the tire walls wrinkled, some, also the alignment marks have moved, hmm!

The STS-V sheared a bolt that holds the rear end in place and destroyed a half-shaft on my first pass.
Sometimes TRP is more fun than other times. :(

Here's a couple videos of the STS-V in action. One good pass against a rail and one bad pass against GMJohnny.

One of my customers forwarded this picture to me today, that he found on a drag race site:

Apparently there's a guy that takes tons of race pictures and just likes to post them.

I'll get the link up later.

Saturday, November 19th, 2011, was the last race day at TRP for 2011, temperature high 40's low 50's.
Took the Silverado, no prep, 3/4 of a tank of gas, tools and spare, but still managed a best Et ever of
15.8285 with a best 89.05mph for speed for the day. I did have an 89.21 mph in 2009.
BP was there with his GrandAm running 16.10's @ 85mph.

BP's game face............................Final round dials...........Last Two Gamblers Standing

In the fourth round I had to race BP in the Gamblers Street Tire Final. BP made me settle for the RunnerUp Money.
As always, TRP is serious fun.

It was a ton of fun running for the money two weeks in a row, and even better that it was against Dad. It's still more fun to beat somebody else though... He forgot to mention that in two of his rounds of eliminations, he had .00x reaction times... Luckily for me that wasn't the case in the final round where my worst of the day .10x reaction time was enough to hold him off. I pulled the bye run in the semi finals so my car got pretty cold. I ran a 16.23 on a 16.2 dial, but 6mph slow as I was pretty hard on the brakes. After comparing my 1/8th mile time, had I run it out, I would have broke out by at least .07...

My best et for the day was 16.10 at 85.5 mph and 2.25 60' times. Luckily, launching the Grand Am and the Caddy happened at the same spot on the tree, so I didn't have to adjust my timing from last week.

I have a couple videos of the Silverado I'll post later.

For you 1/8 mile folks, the Silverado ran a best 10.33 @ 68.84 mph. BP's Grand Am was right there.
During that final round his et was quicker to the eighth. Also my best 60' was 2.2574.
That is about as good as 310hp can do lugging 5200 plus pounds. However, it is serious fun when you
trailer two 9 second bikes and a 10 second Mopar. Had a little trouble with that 16 second Pontiac.

Don't know the year, but it doesn't get any better than K.S. "Tiger" Pittman and Jr. Thompson in AA/GS, unless I see one of Ohio George and "Ohio" Jeg that is... :D
