photo resizer

Post by TireSmoker »

I frequently take pictures at my camera's maximum size, but I usually try to reduce them for stuff I'm going to post on the web. Photoshop is like shooting a fly with an elephant gun for a task like this.

I found this: http://www.rw-designer.com/picture-resize

It's a simple EXE file. Drag-n-drop your photo onto it, and it resizes it. If you name the .EXE PhotoReisizer400.exe, the resulting photo will be 400 pixels wide, and it maintains the aspect ratio. Make multiple copies of the EXE (which is only 300k) with a different number in the filename to output different size photos.

If you drop a file called picture1.jpg onto, it will output picture1-400.jpg.

It's super quick, super-easy. Highly recommended.
