That guy actually has another video where he details purchasing a C5 for 9K. There's an additional video where he goes over the minor problems he runs into. Very informative stuff.

To my pleasant surprise, there's a lot of how to buy a C5 and C6 Corvette videos on YouTube..

Personally, I think the 2012 and 2013 (the last two years of the C6) are going to become very collectible.

I'm not certain there's a C5 in my future. I'd go C6 if I went back to a Corvette.
I look at them every now and then so I understand their current value. Summer is
not the time to buy a Vette!

There have been about 1.5 million Corvettes produced. Many many many of them are being collected.

200k+ are C6. Late production C4 ZR-1 are probably worth close to what they cost now - largely due to low production numbers. From my view, that is where any future low production combo is headed. While collectible, there are just too many Corvettes for anything past the original big block C3's to get any huge value.
