Tiresmoke going HTTPS

Post by TireSmoker »

All,

Just wanted to let you all know in advance that Tiresmoke.org is going to be switching over to HTTPS in the next week or two as Google Chrome is set to begin flagging all HTTP sites as insecure.

What does this mean to you? Not much, but you may get asked whether to trust the site's certificate. I'll keep this thread updated as I implement this in the coming days.

And it's done. Let me know if you guys get any weird errors or have trouble accessing the site. Everything looks good in my testing.

I just noticed that the switch to HTTPS happened on the exact day I first put Tiresmoke online, 13 years later.
