One Man Car Show

Post by Basement Paul »

I'm starting this thread to just post pictures of cool cars we see that are just out and about like any normal car would. Basically if you see something cool driving around or just sitting in a parking lot (not at a car show), snap a shot and post it.

Today I was buying shoes in Willoughby and when I came out, this really sweet Porsche 912 was just sitting there in the parking lot. It was cool to see this out during rush hour.

There are at least a half dozen classics that appear in the parking deck at work from time to time

I think that would be a great car to own. A lot like the original NSX, it's an everyday supercar. Maybe not the top of the heap in performance, but will look cool forever, and would be relatively low maintenance compared to the Italian cars.

I got to drive behind this guy the other day. I'm not a huge VW fan, but
this thing was clean and pretty cool!

I've seen this guy a couple times on Wilson Mills Rd. I believe his plate was BCK 2 FTR.

This one might be outside the usual parameters, but I have to post it just for rarity sake. Saw this gem in the Coventry parking garage last night.

A real Escort GT, somewhere around 1991. This was one of the first cars I ever drove that would rev that high. If I remember right, it was around 6600, and with a 5-spd, it was a ton of fun. And you're right, that's a pretty rare beast these days. Good one.
