Re: 1999 Z/28

Looks as if the passenger's head hit the windshield... And... being away from TSO for a while, this explains the GTO. Sorry for your loss. Being the passenger, I was a little surprised to see that windshield. I was thinking I must have a really hard head since it wasn't even s...

Re: I need a wheel/ polisher

Harbor Freight has one on sale for $30. It looks just like the one I bought for $69 but with more pads, etc. Its working fine so far.

Re: 2004 GTO

I just had a spin in the WXO's new ride. VERY nice!!! Doesn't feel quite as fast by seat of the pants as the Camaro but still lots of fun. When we took the Camaro to the chassis dyno the guy said the tune was dead on. Be interesting to see what he has to say about the GTO. Might be a few more horses...

32V and WXO came up with a better idea. WXO and I will bring the burgers and rolls. We'll also have a case of beer to share.

A lot of guys put Mustang II (or similar aftermarket) suspensions under the front and eliminate the shock towers. First time I heard of a Econoline axle but I have seen pictures with straight front axles. Maybe that's what they used. You probably know that the MII comes with rack & pinion. Nice ...

Ford Wires

I learned that later SBFs used the male posts on the dist caps and those wires fit well with the HEI dist. Ordered a set for an '85 Mustang from Summit. Thanks for your responses. Jim

It's doubtful that any stock set of wires is going to fit properly (by properly, I mean not too long and flopping all over the place). A cut-to-fit kit from Summit/Jegs would probably be better and they are not hard to do at all. Put all the wires onto the spark plugs, route them around headers and...

Plug Wires for HEI Dist?

GM Guys,

Can you suggest a car/engine that I should order plug wires for? My SFB Ford wires don't fit the HEI distributor very well. Thanks.
