New Cameo

Thanks WXO for my new Cameo of the STS-V front-end. There are three others equally cool.
I'll change them occasionally. Also I like WXO's new image. What a sweet truck.
Wondering what it turns?

Aftermath

What will become of all those Yellow DeWalt tools?
For your little cameo picture, I think you should replace
the DeWalt machine with a picture of that really sweet truck.

Corvette Carlisle

Really sad to hear about the Yellow car's sale. I'm sure it's for the best but still a sad moment. What will you drive to Carlisle? Maybe http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/349965897.html or http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/342362650.html or something. I wonder if Randy can drive a stick shift. Hmmm...

STS-V @ TRP

With much pressure from Basement Paul and Johnny442, I was forced into taking the STS-V out to TRP. With temperature and humidity in the mid 80's and no traction, conditions were not terrific. With no planned preparations and a half a tank of gas, STS-V was ready to run. Well the first pass hot off ...

Next Little Thing

OK, so it doesn't have enough wheels, but it can still be made to run. Wonder what it would turn or bring on Cycle Trader. Time to get the dust off of this thing.

Fun while it lasted!

Sad to see the GT go, it was a great way to spend our Saturdays this last winter. Some profit was just an added bonus. Looks like Mostmint's estimate of 3 months was pretty good! Sure would have liked to see it run the quarter. Oh well, maybe the next project, I'm reasonably sure there will be one.

Serious Challenge

Just to put things into perspective time wise, I purchased my 1998 Camaro SS396 in 1971. WXO and I have been racing each other one way or another ever since. It just makes for a really great friendship. http://upload8.postimage.org/495821/2007_0524WxoOld1.jpg http://upload8.postimage.org/495840/2007...

Faster Than My '68 Camaro SS396?

Up until now my fastest quarter mile car was my 1968 Camaro SS396, with 350 hp. It ran 13.92sec, 105.6 mph. The blue Oldsmoblies were in the high 13.90's, but just barely over 100mph. With a little practice, traction compund, and go weather, I hope to have my career best ET and MPH. A time of 13.7's...

Ready for Home Improvement Projects

The TBSS comes in two wheel drive. It will also tow and haul 4 by 8 sheets of plywood, shurbs, paint, or whatever. Perfect for your trips to Lowes and Home Depot. I know Matt is always working on his home. I still vote for the TBSS!
