Lunch in Carlisle

OK! A perfect sauce for Tiresmoke's gourmet luncheons at the "2008 All Truck Nationals" at Carlisle.
Looks like it would certainly clean out TheRookie's plugged injector.

Happy New Year it's 2008. It's not too early to schedule in the Carlisle All-Truck Nationals into your busy life. Set aside the 8th, 9th, and 10th of August . I think I'll travel up on Thursday the 7th . Looks like my 2000 Ranger will be making the trip, since it's a truck and I want to party with a...

Mrs. C's Bed & Breakfast

If a trip to Cleveland is in the offing by WXO and Randi, Mrs. C and I would be pleased to provide Bed, Breakfast, and a garage for the duration of their stay. :)

Move Backwards

The old Funny Car guys would move the rear axle forward. Do you need to worry about driveshaft length? It will be interesting to see how the larger tires make up for the reduced weight transfer when the axle is moved backward. All those Santa upgrades will surely add to the fun. Looks like 12's befo...

The question is, would it make it to Cleveland on its' own or would a tow dolly and/or trailer be needed? You know there won't be any serious rust, not like up here. Below is a picture of it in Sept. 1997 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Autofest swap meet. The Olds is mine and the Camaro in the back...

Riding Shotgun

Can't ever remember having so much fun just riding SHOTGUN! :) I'm wondering how all those drag cars and trucks would do with all them cones scattered ever which way. We might have to try one of those "test & tune" outings to see who is fastest. I can think of some really fun match ups...

Ready for "All Truck Nationals"?!

Looks like you'll have that rig ready for our Annual trip to Carlisle,
next year to the 2008 All Truck Nationals, August 8th, 9th, and 10th.
Love the White, same color as my '00 Ranger. When we park them together,
it will look like father and son. :D
