Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

Even though we're done with Wed nights and dirt drags for the season, I still have things I want to get done before winter cuz it's cold in the garage... I have these 15x7" American Racing Outlaw rims with old drag radials on them. I thought they might be good for tall and skinnyish front runni...

Re: 1989 Trans Am

That's such a nice car. I kinda wish I had another garage space. Good luck, I think you'll find it a home pretty quick.

Re: 2023 Kuhnle Motorsports Park Wednesday nights

I've been working on my winning in the Vette pretty hard. My R/T in time runs weren't too great, but my last time run I found my spot with a .04. The car is pretty consistent after the first time run which is usually off by a few hundredths. In the first round I went .005 green to my opponents .07 b...

Re: 1996 Collector Edition Corvette

That's awesome news for sure. Drivability issues make driving not fun. I wonder if the Accel injectors are fixable? If a guy like him can cure their woes or if they're just plain junk?

Re: 2023 Kuhnle Motorsports Park Wednesday nights

Dave pulled this picture out of a video from earlier this year where I broke out by .003 against him. There's a lot happening here. I'm on the brakes, and he's still on the throttle. The thing I was looking at was the height of the finish line beams. My Corvette will trip these beams under braking s...

Re: 2023 Kuhnle Motorsports Park Wednesday nights

The week before I had a cold but was sick of being sick so I went to the track and practiced some social distancing. I took the S10 cuz the Vette was still in dirt mode and I wasn't really up for all the swapping, and the S10 was turn key. I made it to the 3rd round where I went .003 red against Cut...

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52

In a effort to help the car hook up better in the dirt, I bought a set of 90-10 drag shocks for the front, and shimmed up the rear spring so I could carry more weight in the back without scraping the rear tires on the inner fenders while driving to the races. Both of these seemed to work well as it ...

Dragway 42 KOI Dirt Drags 9-15-23

Last Friday I went to Dragway 42 for the dirt drags with the Vette. This time I made a couple modifications to help it hook up better off the launch in the dirt. I'll post those under projects. As I'm learning from racing at multiple venues now, all dirt tracks are not created equal. Where last week...

A suggestion would be to make that exact bracket out of steel.
