While tiresmoke was down, I decided the truck was overdue for a serious detailing so I tried something I've never done on my own vehicle: clay bar. So I started by clay barring the whole truck, the dirtiest part came from the tailgate. Then I used the high speed buffer with a show glaze to smooth it...

There are two Sunday races in August... the 8th (ford vs GM), and the 15th (rock n roll capital street machines). I may try to do both, but I'd definitely like to get a bunch of us to go to at least one of these.

I would try to make sure fuel comes out of the fuel line before the fuel pump, as maybe it's not the pump at all (line plugged). Do you have a way to pull the gas through the line in front of the pump?

I didn't lay any rubber, but I did drive it. Doesn't seem to be a huge difference, but it also was hot and humid all weekend, so that didn't help much. I do have a very intermittant rattle.... the only thing I can figure, is the infamous lost allen wrench, fell down inside my Y-pipe: :shock: I never...

I was able to get into the parking lot where Your's Truely is without too much problem. I agree though it is getting worse there (been a few years since I've gone).

I didn't do either. I went to the mall instead and bought some much needed clothes for my Vegas trip coming up. After that I changed the oil and plugs on my Saturn, rotated the tires, and fixed the annoying pinhole in my weldjob from when I put the header on. I also spent a couple hours early playin...

So I pulled the headers back out to do some slight modifications and a little clean up. These headers had some useless emissions stuff for an older year, but was not necessary for my application. So I cut the useless pieces off, and with my newfound welding skills, was able to fill the holes quickly...

There's a Chopper's Hod Rod event at TRP next Sunday... anybody thinking about going?
