1964 Malibu SS Convertible

Gardner Competition Engines (GCE) is in the process of restoring a genuine 1964 Malibu SS Convertible. GCE (Jeff) is planning to have this car ready for this summer's cruising. Optimistically...

Detroit Auto Show More Camaro

Here are more Camaro pictures. This car has some really sweet body sculpting that the silver does not show. This car should have some pin stripping or the Z06 strips to show them. For example, you can not see the design in the roof. Maybe a more agressive color to show the body lines that were desig...

Detroit Auto Show

TireSmoke and I drove to Detroit today (in a snow storm) and really enjoyed the show. We thought that a middle of the week day would have less crowding. I can't imagine the weekend being anymore crowded. It was worth the trip but parking during a business work day created a significant problem. The ...

Spring Carlisle 2006

Hope you took pictures with the fenders off. I'm sure there are plenty of Nova parts at Spring Carlisle '06. Might even be a good time to break that motor in. 300 miles each way, perfect. Or think of all the parts you could haul with that big truck of yours. Grins!

I would be interested if weather permits. I would have gone with Mark Heine last year but a snow storm stopped me. Mark says it's a great show. What are the dates? You and I are busy on Saturday the 7th of January due to the Chili & Wine thing. How about a week day, might be less crowded. Standi...

Those new wheels and the Firehawks sure made a big difference. The wax job didn't hurt either. Maybe we'll get some numbers in the spring when it comes out of hibernation.

WOW! Yes, but will those exhaust down pipes you had made still work good enough to get you to the Muffler shop?

Looking forward to following the adventures that Jim and you have when swapping in that less worn 90,000 mile motor you have in storage on your deck. Wish I could be there.

You are welcome. A special thanks to Mark for having the idea to have our special "TireSmoke" caps made available.
