Re: 2009 Shelby GT500 Convertible
It should be noted that the little white convertible
drew quite a bit of attention as it was being unloaded.
The test drive in the Cobra convertible was worth the trip,
it wasn't asked to do much, but it showed its' potential.
All in all, for me it was an awesome fun day.

The replacement of the leaking heater core is complete,
the interior is buttoned up and ready to go.
On to replacing the freshened up cylinder heads.

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52
The heater core can be found somewhere under the dash pad. There is a cute little YouTube to remove the dash pad. I had a fun Sunday afternoon removing that dash pad. Removing the pad is just the very beginning of getting to the core. 20221127_130645.jpg 20221127_153616.jpg 20221127_153636.jpg It ca...

Spring Carlisle 2023
Just looking ahead to
Spring Carlisle 2023
Wednesday April 19th through Sunday April 23.
I did like the Fairfield, we'll do that again.
Put it on your calendar. We'll figure things out when we get closer.
It's on my "To Do" List!
Is it on yours?

Re: 1987 Corvette Z52
The leaking head gasket was a real downer, I suspect things will start happening soon. In the meantime, BP suggested that the new wheels could be cleaned up. I spent time better organizing the 32V Garage creating places to set things for when we really begin to take the C4 apart. In the meantime I d...

Cool that the Mint one will be there. Might be able to catch them for a dinner or breakfast meal somewhere along the line. In that same vane, thinking a little ahead to Fall Carlisle, things are firming up. The second room that I reserved is now being held to be used by Matt and Mike et.al.. BP, GMJ...

From BP's post -
"Also, I found on FB a NOS rear Corvette badge about 10 min from my house. I picked it up for $30 and we put in on yesterday. No pics."

More fun to come!

Re: Yikes this is worth $18k
I'm thinking this car will bring something like 23K from a guy like GMJohn who would begin to make it a 35K when he was done, although he seems never to be finished. This car is almost 50 years old and there is a lot left, new owner will fix one detail at a time, while he is driving it to cruises. M...
