The cover is leaking in two places. One is definitely where the cover and the exhaust cam tower come together so I have started the disassembly process. :(

I hope it is an easy obvious problem.

Yes. But I have seen worse.

It is not hiding under a cover
It does not have boxes and things stacked up on it
None of the tires are flat

It is sitting inside a dry garage

Oh and I still own it. It will be there when I need it

there is a definite oil leak from the timing chain cover. I don't know if it is the front or back yet, so more investigation is needed. I think I'll get that fixed before I plate it.

I could stand to get a harmonic balancer for a Quad 4. Anyone have one?

It's OBD II and that means I know you can reprogram the computer when you change the rearend. It also means that echeck is not a rolling test - they just plug in to the computer.

This is a project I have to seriously consider copying. Only it'll have to be a '96.

Any indication that the marks are 1" farther apart is also coincidence, and not nececsarily indicative that they were caused by the Roadmaster in question.

We could all use a little video of the generation of those two black marks...... Dislaimer: There is no direct evidence that those two black marks are indeed from said Roadmaster. Any correlation that the marks appeared shortly after said positraction rearend was installed is merely coincidental. :...

I remember the first small block I ever worked on was in my Dad's 78 Chevy Blazer. It was a 350 with 4WD, 3.40 gears and dual exhaust. I am sure we encouraged him to put headers on it and chrome it. It had two air filters (stacked) in the same filter housing, and M/T finned aluminum valve covers. We...

Perhaps you need some big cans hanging off the back (ricer style), or raised whites and aftermarket rims, or some custom license plate to get some attention.

It fits the sleeper role a little too well at the moment.

Did he mention it was fast?

I am on the fence about making an offer for an array of reasons, none of which have to do with the condition of the car.
