Please make sure you really want to buy a Ford before proceeding. I am guessing the GTO body style does not impress you, the Vette is too expensive, and the Camaro is too far in the future. How would the GT be better than your Nova? Are those things worth the extra $18 grand you would have to pay to...

The SS w/automatic is over 3900 lbs! That means my SS is lighter than the new Camaro. At this time it appear the LS or LT Camaro will not be a match for the Impala in the 1/4.

If I can add another 100 HP ...

Intersting video.

Wouldn't somebody have more fun actually driving the car? Maybe this is just a stage before they actually put it in a car.

Sweet, so you were over EPA estimates.

Last tank I made 23.3 in the SS. The EPA is 16-24, so I'll need a little more highway driving to get above that rating. Oh and the average is now up to 21.5.

Been lookin for a run but can't get it to work out.

So far no luck selling this car. Ebay came and went with no success. Had a few trade offers, including a 2002 Fatboy, 66 Belvedere and a 59 Ford. Collector car trader has been yielding practically nothing. Since I am not in a rush to sell I am going to try local advertising and putting it out in the...

So the tire situation evaporated after I took it to Goodyear, they rebalanced the tires and the problem went away. I tried having them put the bad tire on the front again but the problem still did not return. During this time I found that all the tires were not round, not just one. To my surprise I ...

Made an earnest effort to work on the car this past weekend. I just have one head left to remove and disassembly is complete. The back cylinder on the driver side was the one taking water. I curse the designer that had that wiring harness and EGR tube bolted to the back of the head. Interesting that...
