If it doesn't leak the synthetic would find a way to get out. My '99 ETC never leaked until I did it a favor and put synthetic in it. Also, my GM turbo 350 and turbo 400 trannies all used Ford's Mercron tranny fluid, Jim Synder said it was heavier and would work better helping shifting and heat cont...

The trans is the Turbo 350 built by Jim Snyder, it was part of the package that
Basement repurchased from ttamrettus. Both gear changes are down right nasty.

Also, no more "Dog tracking" down the road, all those new neoprene bushing really straightened things out.
Following that thing is down right frightening.

Still Waiting

It would sure be fun to see Tiresmoke in his garage with his webcam.
How hard is it really to get one of those working?
I have a working camara but don't know how to get it onto the internet.

Sad story

Sorry to hear the Avalanche is for sale. Need some pictures, data, and price in the Tiresmoke "For Sale" section. Also, some pictures of the new ride would be nice. Wonder what that '05 Impala w/3.4 will turn in the quarter, is it in the 16's? Is it as fast as the T-bird, the '87 442, the ...

Spring is finally Here!

OOPHS!

Seems using the home check for grandchildren (even 3 times, Doctor said he was) is not fail safe, since it now turns out that Basement is not really pregnant after all. Very sad and disappointing, but not something that can't be overcome.

Now that's why we do what we do.
Way to go Tiresmoke,
1.8 60's is leavin' and low 12's over 110 is cause for serious satisfaction. :)
