118577 Plastic tee in the cooling system failed. The first time the hose slid off I didn't realize it was broken at the barb. This is already a replacement vs the factory piece (its a Y) so I decided to fix it with a brass tee. F9D3CFC9-E7EC-48A6-B52D-E25BB72954AC.jpeg The back of the rear seat is u...

Re: Chevelle Projects 2024
Should be able to MIG weld that. The challenge will be guessing thickness to apply the weld without blowing through what is there

Re: iRacing broadcasts
Charlotte was a fair result ending up P6 after a P3 qualifying effort. What I learned in the race is I was not able to stay close enough in T2 to provide a bump draft on the back straight. I saw so many sketchy close incidents I decided to drop back. From the back I could see there were about 3 cars...

Re: 2008 Trailblazer SS
If that tube will unbolt (looks like it does) you can straighten that off the vehicle. The main radiator support - from the outside of the car I would insert a pry bar into the hole then push up to bend the bracket down. If you need the porta power you may be able to put a chain around the frame rai...

Have fun! The key is spreading out the load on the end you are pushing against so you only end up moving what you want to move

Re: iRacing broadcasts
The combo of Indy oval with the street stock was a lot of fun. I got in some practice and parlayed that into P3 qualifying. There were some incidents during the race that cost me a bunch of spots and ended up in back at one point. Still managed a P4 and fastest lap of the race. Up next on Sunday 7/1...

Re: 2017 Dodge Challenger SXT - Mostmint #45
Inspection day was 6/27. That morning I discovered the cig lighter ports were not working – it was just a bad fuse. It was a bright sunny day and temps were like upper 60’s, very mild for late June. The inspection station is about 45 minutes from my house, and I left a bit early to give extra time i...

Re: iRacing broadcasts
Did a little prep for Bristol. This track is a bit tricky as tire wear is an issue. I basically learned that a little part throttle on corner entry really helped increase tire life and did not affect lap times much. I learned in practice you can run it wide open around the track, and I put that to u...

Re: 2017 Dodge Challenger SXT - Mostmint #45
Hood: • Had to address the LF hood corner being too high. At this point I’m a little burnt out on fixing this hood. I thought it was straight enough. Once I got past that annoyance I had to figure out how to bend down the LF corner without damaging the surface any further. I thought of several metho...

Re: iRacing broadcasts
That was a fun race. A little harrowing as I had to dodge several wrecks. I didn't get in both qualifying laps as I took a bio break and came back well into the session. I think league admin advanced the session quicker than I was expecting. In the draft starting position should not matter much - ho...

Re: iRacing broadcasts
Sebring was a decent race - qualified P15, pitted early when I came up on a pack of 7 cars racing, finished it out clean with a P10. After the pit cycle was over I was P8 as a couple guys who were faster came out 5 seconds behind. I just didn't have the pace to hold them off for 12 laps. Still a goo...

That's a big plus! Must have been messing up the geometry for the driveshaft.
