Re: 1978 Lincoln Continental Coupe
It's time to sell the Lincoln. I'm having some health issues, not driving it, don't really enjoy working on it anymore, and need to clean out my garage/shop. Need to get it cleaned up and take it to some shows, cars & coffees, etc. this spring. If any Tiresmokers are interested, let me know. It'...

COVID Vaccinations
We lost a friend to COVID last night. Our son was VERY sick with it but managed to stay out of the hospital. I hope you all will get vaccinated when you have the opportunity. Wife and I had our first shot and the second is scheduled. 400,000+ deaths from COVID in the US; none from the vaccination.

Flare Fitting Gaskets
Didn't know these existed. Could be very useful.

Interesting that a package of 10 costs the same as 1 and less than 5.
Other than the price nonsense, reviews are mostly very favorable.

GMs EV plan is nuts!!
This seems insane to me. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/29/business/general-motors-electric-cars.html No internal combustion engines means all plug-ins, no hybrids. Converting GMs market share to plug-ins means huge increase in generation capacity and grid expansions. Can't happen in 15 years. Eith...

Re: Ford 4.6, 5.4. 6.8 Spark Plug Thread
That would be GOOD!! I didn't read about plug blow out in the 2V but thought I'd read about 2V plugs seizing and breaking off or stripping out. Spent some time searching on line and didn't find an answer which engines have that problem. So far its only up to 6X,XXX miles, so maybe I'll never have to...

Ford 4.6, 5.4. 6.8 Spark Plug Thread
Good video on fixing spark plug threads on Triton engines. Well known problem with these engines blowing out plugs or threads stripping out when removing stuck plugs. I haven't changed the plugs on my 2002 Explorer 4.6 2V and hope I don't have to. The guy also suggests using Ford replacement coils, ...

Re: 2020 Ford Ranger #55
Since I still don't think liters, the converson gives 140 cubic inches. 320 HP from 140 CI is AMAZING!!.
320/140 = 2.28 RWHP/CI
WOW!!!
13s?? 12s??

Re: Table top fire pit, CHINESE CRAP!!!
Well, there were three problems. I didn't know that the necessary tipping of the tank to get it inside the fire pit would trip the the tank's tip over safety feature. (THANKS, GM) Second, something that wasn't explained in the instructions, the fire pit gas control valve has to pushed in not only to...

Got it to light twice. Now gotta fix a leak created from disassembling/assembling gas lines.
