All the ET guess are on page 4 of the '79 T/A's project thread. I had an interesting night. Just after getting through the square in Chardon, my car started spitting quite a bit of smoke out the exhaust. It sounded fine, it felt fine, but plenty of smoke, somewhat intermittent, mostly from the passe...

I have yet another new grill, which seems like nicest portable grill I've owned yet. There will be another round of Tiresmokin' burgers.

Because of the viewing angle of the lens, I think I'd have trouble mounting it in a location that could see the wheel. I'll look, though. This same problem prevents me from getting the gauges into the shot. I can't wait to make a pass at TRP with it again. It definitely pulls the top end of the revs...

It turned out to be about a *perfect* day for riding home. It was sunny and warm, with just a few white fluffy clouds in the sky as we left the hotel in Elkins, WV. I wrote Alcans, WV in the last message, because thats what the clerk sounded like when I asked at check-in. I saw a sign on the way out...

The word for the day yesterday was RAIN. All Day. It had rained overnight on Friday night but had quit by morning. According to the weather channel, it looked like we would miss most of everything else. I elected to leave my rain pants off. Within an hour, I was damp (but not soaked) and put them on...
