Re: 2000 Cadillac DeVille #47

There will be no SAAB appearance at Thompson. I've vowed that I will only use that car for daily driving and NO HOT RODDING!!!! I enjoy not having to wrench on it, and am hoping to keep it that way... I will concede that this Caddy is faster than the Saab. Sorry race fans!! .... My friend Dan has a ...

Re: My Corvette search

His ebay feedback score sucks... I'd view that as a red flag, or at least read up
on why his score is so bad......

Re: TRP Saturday April 13th

BP I don't know if you ever had to make one or not, but all of our cars when we were in school would wheel hop like crazy without pinion snubbers in them. If you make one, your problems will be mostly gone. The only car I ever ran that the pinion snubber didn't work perfectly on was the Dynamic, and...

Re: 2005 9.2x Linear

Last Wednesday, I got sick and tired of waiting for nice weather. I wanted to be able to paint my seats with the garage doors open. No dice. It was cold and crappy out, but I had the time to do the work, so I did. Here's a pic of the original seat color: http://s24.postimg.org/w9zihv9ap/0320131528.j...

Re: '70 F100

Maverick ..... I'm no expert on any of these things, but I thought I'd chime in. A question I have is have you considered putting a fitting on the front or rear of the tank the lowest point, just before the bend of the bottom of the tank? I think doing this would allow the pump to be "lower&quo...

Re: 2005 9.2x Linear

The other day I noticed my right front headlight being dim. I'm assuming the headlight bulbs are the originals. The first day I got the car, I had to do a Fonzie maneuver on the left front to make it work. So my assumption was that both headlights were on their last legs. I went to the local NAPA st...

Re: '70 F100

Maverick, if the tank is out, how about trying something to agitate the tank and make the stuff come loose. At work, we've used air chisels or needle scalers to create intense shaking to get mortar and cement off of mixers. I think if you put the tank upside down on the ground with a two by four on ...
