Found a direct fit test pipe on ebay and bolted it on yesterday with no real drama. The exhaust is definitely a little louder, and the car seems a little better in the midrange, but still a little flat on the top end. Such is the life of a 3.4 I guess.

It would be a shame to not put Flowmasters on that truck. A strong big block and at least 2.5" pipes, with Flowmasters would just sound phenomenal. Pure stainless steel seems ridiculous in your climate, I would just ask for aluminized stainless and you'll never have to replace it. I bet you can...

I'm driving up Thursday night after work. Who wants to race to Carlisle?? I'll probably bring the truck, but the Camaro gets better mileage, and I might have to spank another mid 90's Camaro when I get there, so I'm not sure...

As far as the choke goes, you live in the south, pump that thing a few times and drive away... :D

A whole bunch of stuff has happened since my last post here. I was going to keep some things a secret from mostmint, but since my stock exhaust was just about to fall off, and he had a free exhaust laying around, I spilled the beans when I got to his place to pick it up. I installed an aluminum one ...

Interesting Items at HGR

01-801-057 1 TECH TIRE CHANGER $699.00

40-401-045 1 32" X 48" PEG BOARD $99.99

Somebody told me they wanted a bunch of peg board, and this is a huge box of it. The other piece is an air type tire changing machine and it looks to be in decent shape.

Yuck!!

That Camaro is terrible. Leave it to GM to be unable to capture the essence of what a car was.

Look at the Cuda. Perfect!

Now if I could only get Gm's drivetrain in the Chrysler...

I could spot a C3 from a mile away, and a 4cyl 4spd trans from a 2.3, no problem, but a C4 I have no experience with. Sorry...

I've actually talked to the guy at dragway 42 before. I believe I've seen him run low 11's. Believe it or not, the car really isn't that insane. The motor is revving I think around 5500 or so, and it's all steel. Seemed like a reasonably nice guy too. He's probably about my age.

Christmas Gifts...

So who got cool stuff for Xmas? Amy got me a cd changer for the Camaro, which will be nice for the commute. Morning radio in Cleveland sucks anymore. It's tough to just find a station playing music. And she got me a cordless Playstation controller. Cool. I got a few movies too, including Terminator,...
