I had the carb on my Vette and also on the Cadillac. It's now a lamp because it's been rebuilt too many times and has some stripped out holes and is just plain wore. But don't worry, I still have one from a swap meat that is in VGC and also an 800cfm on the Caddy right now working well.

So now it runs and drives! I got the water pump replaced (and ruined the belt by not installing it correctly). New plugs and wires. Oil leak is remedied with the oil pump drive o-ring replacement. New tires courtesy of our hook up at Firestone. Fresh coolant. I passed e-check yesterday too... barely...

You could probably buy a GOOD used one for under $250. Some guys just upgrade their stock 5.0 transmissions in leiu of a performance upgrade. I've seen them cheaper than that periodically.

I dont think it would be that tough since that chassis came with a stick in the SC V6 cars.

Cool car, probably even worth the money just for the parts. Look like he's even including extra rearends with posi. But, still needs A LOT of work to be right.

I'm sure that it wouldn't take much to hook up the MEGA SQUIRT.

Yesterday got the exterior detailed. A high speed glaze job, and an application of Simoniz (teflon wax we charge $349 for), and that Camaro shines like crazy. I got the front seats scrubbed, the interior vacuumed, and partly through my application of armor all when a guy called about my Honda, so I ...

I'm pretty sure a 9" will be fine for my application. I'm hoping the one I have will work dimensionally, and then I'll just get a good center section with something around a 3.55 gear ratio. I'll get a look at it sometime before Christmas. For now, I need to get the Honda sold and the Camaro re...

The car was totalled from what I can tell from the carfax, just before the previous owner bought it. So it had 138k on it when it was "repaired". The reason I think it was totalled is that the airbags went off from a driver's front impact which doesn't really look that bad. But I'm sure ai...

Post a picture of your car, and your scenery Tim. I'd love to see them both.

I guess the fans were successful producing my best time ever, and also breaking my rearend in the process. This winter will have to produce another rearend somehow.

TRP- Oct 16th- good & bad

The track was perfect, the air was great, and the light tailwind didn't hurt either. My first pass in the Caddy was my best pass ever: 14.27 (no mph) 1.99 60 ft At that point I should've gone home happy. I made about six more passes and decided to go home. I had a bunch of low 30's, but none better ...

I think my fogs were busted from the front end collision. They're not even completely broken, just need attention putting them back together in one form or another. I got the oil leak fixed yesterday. Replaced the one inop headlight, did some headlight assembly custom mounting to compensate for crap...

Question? - about Salvage Title

Read about my Camaro that I bought, then tell me what you would do, given that you got a seemingly good deal, then found out after you already had the car home, that it had a salvage title. I told the guy here who's sister I bought the car from, that if I could get a couple hundred bucks back, I'd b...

1994 Camaro

So now I own a 1994 Camaro. It's hidden at 32V's place until I sell the Honda (which I just lowered the price of in the autotrader). Anyway it's a 3.4 with an auto trans. It's got the 16" alloys, fog lights, power windows and locks, cassette, and cruise. Car runs fine, but I'm thinking will get...
