Just about the final product here. The grass is now starting to grow (not shown), and my stuff is just about all moved in. I'll get a picture of it with cars in once they're all here. -BP http://www.postimage.org/gx1h_3yS.jpg http://www.postimage.org/gx1h_b2i.jpg http://www.postimage.org/gx1h_iwJ.jp...

TRP 9-10 results

Both GM Johnny and I went to the track tonight. I just typed four paragraphs about it and my computer decided to "update" and shut down and I lost it all, so here's the quick version. The Vette made five passes and the best was a 13.62 at 103. Pretty Sweet! The Trans AM got three passes an...

I'm not sure I'd even put the headrests back in. The old seats didn't have them, and IMO, they won't look quite right in that classic truck. Great work on the covers!

After taking a load of scrap this past weekend, I had the opportunity to get on the scale there with the S10. With me in it, and about 7/8 tank of fuel, the truck weighed in at 3840lbs. Not exactly a lightweight. Take me out and it would be 3670, and take 10 gal of fuel out and it's down to 3600. Ei...

I can't drive a car on it for a couple days, but they're going to pour the driveway midweek, and I'll be out of town next weekend, so I'll most likely just wait until the following weekend to start moving my stuff. I may try to sucker some people to help me move my stuff around. I also plan to try a...

What I haven't told anyone, is that there is really a "basement" underneath my garage...

Here's what it looks like with the doors, shudders, and lights on.

It's been awhile since I've posted for this car. The front of the car was sagging pretty bad and it turned out BOTH of the front springs were broken, so I ordered a set of TRW front springs (ebay) and Gabriel front struts and upper ball joint and control arm assemblies (autozone) as the upper ball j...

Last Sunday brought another development. I had a couple things going on... the belt melting problem persisted as the crankshaft pulley was still out of round, so I ordered a set of underdriven billet pulleys off ebay. What these will do is insure that the belts run true, and also have a deeper groov...

I bet if you start sending them emails about a polka channel, that might help, especially if you're not the only guy asking about it.

I guess we don't really have a project to do on Saturday (unless my line lock shows up). It is really sweet that it's a factory set up, and paying over $100 to do something you can do yourself is even better, especially when it actually works when you're done.

SWEET!

There's been a bunch of little stuff happening to the garage, but last week they finished the walls with a little plaster. It really looks good. http://www.postimage.org/aV2xjYf9.jpg http://www.postimage.org/gx2S8RBS.jpg Tomorrow they're going to pour concrete in the garage, but not the driveway yet...

7:26!!! The 'Ring is on my video game (turn for turn with elevation changes, it's dead on), and this course is insanely difficult. That guy has been around that track a few hundred times and a street car running under a 7:30 is completely insane. the sounds that car makes are sick. Bad ass, indeed! ...

I don't like the canceling thing as I would have the time taken from work already at that point. If we're going to go, we just plan for whatever the weather brings. I would do the Ford meet, but I'm afraid a lot of the group wouldn't want that. That being the case, I like the Fall meet the best. If ...
