Done!

All that's left is a little wisp of smoke from my six-shooter.
Thanks Andy.

Jeeps and computers

I finally broke down and worked on the parking brake for this high class machine. One of the two brackets that guide the cables to the rear wheels had pulled completely out of the floorboards. I was going to simple go underneath and weld it back on, but when I looked up at the hole, I could see carp...

It ain't much, but...

Since traffic (other than spam) has been a bit light these days, I thought I'd let you know that I had a buyer come today for some of the leftovers from this swap. I sold the old cast iron intake, the dual point distributor, a pair of exhaust headers, one of the Accel Super coils from Carlisle, a ch...

Did I miss sumpthin?

I've been reading this thread over the last few days and it sounds like I got my dates wrong. I thought this meet was in August!! Maybe I got my lines crossed and it's really in April (both "A" months). Should I be changing the oil in the Vette and gettin' her all shined up?

I'm hooked!

I watched the last episode on the website. Very entertaining. I wonder how long the wayward Mexicans will last.

Ol' Blue status

She's a good runner alright. Unfortunately, with the price of premium gas these days, I always think about that when my foot goes to the floor, the back two big barrels kick in and she takes off. It doesn't take too long to go through a tank of gas. If I drove her like I did with the old engine, the...

Price

Actually I asked $2150 on Craigslist and they were beatin' down the door to get here to see it. It turns out that a guy had just put an ad up for the same bike with more miles and less equipment for $3200 so I ended up sittin' in the catbird seat. That and Spring has arrived here and all the yoots h...

1992 NightHawk for sale. 6486 miles! $1800

My NightHawk is being turned into cash. These pics were taken when I first got it in 2001, but the condition is much the same. I'll provide updated photos for interested parties. I have added case guards to the bike since these pics were taken. A new rear tire was installed last year. Front tire is ...

Save it.

Hang onto the head until Fall. Then we can make a project out of removing the tap. Who knows it might take a week.

Cool ride

The bed was removed when it was loaned to a NC Fire Dept. They mounted a water tank on it. There is a bed available near here for $300. This vehicle was running and inspected in 1995. I've been told that the current owner (a kid really) had tried to start it with ether a couple of times but failed. ...

I saw a complete running example of the M-37 on Ebay that was bid up to $3550, but was not sold because the reserve was not met. I also saw fully restored examples for around $40k in Hemmings, but a all the experts that I was able to talk to called those prices fantasies. These trucks are not for ev...
