Looks like the S10 is headed for the dyno today. Here's some pictures of the very expensive header install. I guess these were a HUGE pain to install. I probably would have given up if I was trying to do it myself.

I want to give props to this place: https://www.ebay.com/str/TireBuyer/ They not only had the cheapest price on the General tires I bought, and delivered them in two days, but were also very prompt in sending out the $50 Visa gift card that came along with buying a set of four General tires at the t...
Test fitting the "new" wheels. Seems ok to me. They're 1/2" wider and seems that a little of the extra width goes in, and a little comes out. With a wider tire than stock it should look right.

It's hard to believe that Cleveland's show can be better than Buffalo, but then again, I don't know much about Buffalo except it snows more than here. That's enough for me.
Last Friday I made a trip to Hutter's to see if I could get a date locked in to get my truck in for upgrades. I've been hounding them a little since before Christmas when Trevor told me the port job on my heads was complete. That being said, I'm bringing the S10 there this week, most likely on Tuesd...

From what I remember, the intake runners would be a pretty worthwhile investment. They help on the high end, but the torque gains were significant as well. These were pretty limiting in stock form. Especially if you could combine it with the throttle body upgrade.
So the prices of 17" rim sets are astronomical, so with some searching, I found a nearly new set of 16" x 6.5" stockers (rims only) off a 2019 Jetta in Aurora for $250. We picked them up today on the way to Summit for S10 parts. What this will do is keep my tire costs down, but still ...
