Re: 2020 Ford Ranger #55
Put one in an SVO Mustang and wake that thing up! It’s amazing the technology- with the factory upgrade that 2.3 has more HP and torque than my 89 Vette had from the factory. You still going to have a hard time catching it in the 1/4 mile

Re: Table top fire pit, CHINESE CRAP!!!
I'd check on Grainger or McMaster Carr websites I'd bet one of them will have the right adapter or multiple adapters to make the transition.

Re: iRacing ChampCar events 2020
My 2020 year in review Charlotte: First race. Tanked qualifying on purpose, started 57th, pitted as we came to green to avoid lap 1 carnage. Managed to keep the car in one piece and finished 37th. 96th in points Watkins Glen: Didn’t understand this was the legacy MX5 Cup car – so all my practice was...

Re: iRacing ChampCar events 2020
2020 is in the books. Last race was Laguna Seca with the Legacy Mazda MX5 Cup. 28 cars took the grid, I started 11th. I was hanging in 13th on lap 4 when I messed up the entrance to turn 10 and went well into the sand. Cost me 18 seconds and dropped 10 positions. Need more practice driving close beh...

Thrustmaster T150 pedal set repair
This post covers how to fix a broken gas pedal return spring. It doesn't look broken, but it is so weak it the throttle is sticking open IMG_5957.JPG 1) Disassembly: - get the pedal set to a place where you can disassemble it. If possible remain connected to the steering wheel as it may help with ca...

Re: iRacing ChampCar events 2020
Good idea if in a pinch. the lack of resistance when pushing down is a major minus
Found and ordered some torsion springs from Grainger that will hopefully do the trick.

Re: iRacing ChampCar events 2020
During tonight's practice race I had a mechanical problem with the throttle sticking! My Thrustmaster T150 pedal set has a broken gas pedal return spring. 2924EC9A-8F75-4C7F-B7DB-B68104680FA2.jpeg I sent a note to technical support looking for a replacement, but it seems dumb to put that part back i...

if you have the space snow tires are the way to go here in NE Ohio. Drive on the freeway in a major storm you will be the highway star - passing everyone while still 10 under the speed limit!

Re: 1966 OLDS 442
extra weight not likely to help wheel hop - if that is what you were thinking. the rear end is twisting under the car that is what causes it. New poly bushings would probably help that a lot, and a pinion snubber would cure it. You should be able to mount one where the stock snubber is (assuming the...
