I just came across this old picture and though it was funny because it related to the topic.
No offense taken - just equal opportunity harassment!

I was lucky there were no cameras when my 327 broke and the Trans Am went on the hook.

Hey ttamrettus how's that Chevelle? Oh that's right! Its not even near ready to go on the road yet.

I wonder if anyone has pictures of it while it was sitting at Carl's before I got it and put it back together?

For $427,000? You could probably buy the 10.0 second car with the guarantee, a 4 bay workshop garage and a nice house.

I bet Jay Leno might be interested.

I got insulted the other day by some guy with a 442 that runs low 16's, when he was making fun of my "sports car". I haven't decided what to do about it yet, if anything. A lot of it will depend on the baselline numbers if I have to embarrass said 442 like I already have with my S-10. -BP...

You can remember that long ago? What's your fastest pass this year? -BP Last time I checked I was in the 12.60's. I give up about a second with the exhaust up - that would translate into 13.60's. What about you? Oh thats right! You haven't made it to the 13's yet. My fast car may be sitting ...

Hmm isn't that over the posted speed limits, or did you go that fast off road?

That air dam can't be more than $10-$15 at a junk yard.

Re: Where, oh where are you?

Rumor has it this car used to be pretty fast.. but no one has seen it recently. Did it get towed to Jimmy's uncle's basement? OK Mr. 40# injectors, last time I checked it was in the 12.60's. What about you? Oh thats right! You haven't made it to the 12.60's yet. I think a 12.62 might get it out of ...

We've now pulled ahead of Andy with his Corvette Project (270 views to 256). He's fadin' fast in the rearview mirror. Silly me - didn't think it would turn into a competition. I should know better than that. Just make sure that whatever slice you use will stand up to the pressure. If I had t...

This stint of mild weather has got me back on task. Today I pulled the half-shafts out. They came out real easy - all I had to do was unbolt them from the differential and the spindle and they came out. The instructions I had read made it sound much worse. I also removed the inner u-joints for repla...

OK, so Fred's got me two to one. BUT, I had the spreadbore FIRST and he escalated! Well if you had the Holley first, then I would say you escalated, and he had to buy one to keep up. I know after tiresmoker bought roller rockers I was compelled to keep up. You just can't help it. Before it was a la...

Spreadbore on a Ford? It looks good on there, just seems unusual.

I think Fred had one for his 68 Camaro - looked a lot like that one. Is this a coincidence?

I want to know who bought theirs first and who needed to get one to catch up.

The saga continues. This project just will not die.

It seems the exhaust was leaking a little where the y-pipe joins the catalytic converter. The connection must have gotten tweaked when the tranny was out and the engine leaned back on the exhaust. So I moved the clamp and cranked down on it. I have also noticed a vibration in the driveline around 70...
