Re: DIY press fit con rod install

I never built anything where the pins were pressed fit into the rod. I appreciate that you took the time to show us what you did and how you did it. It was a fun read. I can't want to hear that Rambler run. If this were on Face Book, I'd have given you a thumbs-up "Like". Strange kind of f...

Re: 1997 Pontiac Firebird

I had the fuel pressure gauge all along. I did get to see 'Smoke this evening as he
used the excuse of returning the compress gauge for a joy ride in his sweet Vette. :D

I did finish installing the driver side front pads. 2020_0622 TrackBird Driver side frt pads.jpg Then BP called asking if I wouldn't "Brake-in" the new pads. That was a first for me. He directed me to the Powerstop web site for the procedure. I took the TrackBird for its' break-in run afte...

Re: 1997 Pontiac Firebird

TrackBird received much attention this Saturday working into the afternoon. 2020_0621 Before.jpg I replaced the rear brake pads. BP replaced the plugs and wires and stuff under the car. Then we tag teamed the right front brake pads, BP to the rescue. 2020_0621 after.jpg Still need to do the left fro...

Re: 1997 Pontiac Firebird

The TrackBird Team has added Simpson Neck bracing to our safety wardrobe. So I took some time to practice putting on the helmet and neck bracing. Then I practiced getting in and out of the TrackBird so I would look really cool going in and out. thumbnail_20200604_142920.jpg thumbnail_20200604_143348...
